Do you remember learning about the fight or flight response?

When you feel stressed, do you:

“Flee” by turning to a compulsive habit to distract you? (eating, aimlessly surfing the web, shopping, etc?)

“Fight” by snapping at your loved ones or driving impatiently and angrily?

or “Freeze” by “vegging-out” in front of the TV, napping, or otherwise avoiding?

We all have responses like these from time to time, but my hope for you is that you will learn to find calm as needed. When we are calm, we can intentionally make different choices more of the time!
